About the founder

I've spent 20+ years on the other side of closed won.

That's where the promises meet reality. It's also where companies discover whether they built a revenue engine or a rescue mission.

Operator first. Architect by necessity.

I'm the founder of After the Close and a customer success and go to market executive. I've built and led post sale functions across venture backed and private equity backed businesses, including roles at Docket, Regie.ai, Textio and DreamBox.

I've been in the rooms where growth targets get set, and in the trenches where teams inherit commitments nobody scoped, processes nobody owns and renewal risk nobody wants to explain.

I don't believe customer success should exist to absorb dysfunction. I believe the entire business needs an operating model designed around delivering customer value and growing revenue after the sale.

That is why After the Close exists.

What I believe

The customer journey is an executive responsibility.

01

The promise is a company commitment

What Sales promises, Product enables, and Post Sale delivers must connect.

02

AI should create leverage

Automating a bad workflow just creates a faster bad workflow.

03

NRR belongs to the business

Retention and expansion cannot be delegated to one team while the rest of the company controls the inputs.
